This list summarizes the categories and purposes of the personal information that the BrainBay iOS app (Global release) collects across scenarios. Optional features are only requested in specific scenarios; declining them does not affect the use of other core features.
Sign in with Apple
- Information
- A stable Apple user identifier and, if you allow it, your name and email (which may be a private relay address)
- Purpose
- To create and sign in to your account and sync data across devices
Sign in with Google
- Information
- Google account identifier and basic profile information you authorize (name, email, profile picture)
- Purpose
- To create and sign in to your account and sync data across devices
Building a training plan / completing your preferences
- Information
- Training-preference questionnaire answers (lifestyle, focus level, training time, training style, self-reported symptoms, training goals)
- Purpose
- To generate and save your personalized daily training plan
Doing brain training
- Information
- Training identifier, duration / score / accuracy, completion timestamp, cumulative training count, streaks
- Purpose
- To save training progress and generate your ability map and achievement metrics
While using the app
- Information
- Device information (device model, OS version, screen resolution), service logs, network information (IP address), time-zone setting
- Purpose
- To keep the product running reliably, for operational statistics, and for app error collection
Behavioral analytics
- Information
- Anonymous device identifier (IDFV), page-view and tap events, training start/completion events
- Purpose
- For anonymized product-usage analysis that guides product iteration
